Welcome to My Personal Page
I WALK because I've lost too many friends to HIV.
I WALK because I have far too many friends still coping with HIV.
I WALK because even today, many people still don't have access to appropriate care, treatment and services.
I WALK because we must take every opportunity to keep every one of our brothers and sisters, friends and relatives, acquaintances and strangers from becoming infected by HIV.
I WALK because we have to do better!
On Saturday, September 24th, the 27th NO/AIDS WALK will take place at New Orleans’ Audubon Park. I hope you will consider joining me at the WALK. You can register you team or as an individual walker on-line through the Task Force’s website at www.noaidstaskforce.org or directly at www.noaidswalk.com.
I don’t normally send out mass emails, but this event is critical to the efforts of NO/AIDS Task Force (which is now doing business as CrescentCare) in providing prevention education, life-saving medical care and supportive services, as well as HIV awareness to the greater New Orleans area.
About the WALK . . .
The WALK supports the programs and services of NO/AIDS Task Force, which has been serving the greater New Orleans area for over 30 years. Also, through the WALK-Share program, donations can help support participating AIDS service organizations across Louisiana. The programs and services of NO/AIDS Task Force include HIV prevention, primary medical care, supportive services, housing and legal services. NO/AIDS is able to make a huge difference each day, because you and thousands like you have not forgotten people with HIV/AIDS. Your gifts are essential as the organization strives to maintain its robust services to over 2,500 men, women and families.

Over the past three years, the organization has become a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with 3 community health centers. Over the past year, the CrescentCare Health and Wellness Center is now opeing the organization's first Dental Center!!!
