Welcome to Kierstin's Page!
On Sunday, September 30, 2018, the Coconut Prancers will sashay in the 29th Annual Walk to End HIV presented by Chevron and benefiting CrescentCare. This was formerly called the NO/AIDS WALK; the mission remains the same - the only change is a new name. The 2 mile Walk/Run raises awareness of the impact HIV/AIDS continues to have on our community by honoring those living with the disease and remembering those who have passed on. All money raised at the Walk stays right here in New Orleans.
Did you know... In 2016 Louisiana ranked 3rd for HIV rates and 2nd for AIDS rates in the US? Did you know... The New Orleans Metro Area saw 352 new HIV diagnoses in 2016? (LDH Office of Public Health STD/HIV Program 2017). With your help we can provide critically needed outreach and testing, linkage to care, early intervention services, Rapid-Start treatment with antiretrovirals, primary care, behavioral health, case management, housing, nutrition counseling and assistance, health education and much more!
